Due to the highly regulated nature of this role, financial services experience is essential, with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance processes, including the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR).
The Role
Reporting to the Head of People Operations, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and DSARs.
-
Leading on SMCR processes and contributing to fit-and-proper assessments.
-
Providing expertise on visa applications and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
-
Maintaining and updating HR policies to reflect legislation and business needs.
-
Managing employee data and ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
-
Supporting HR projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
-
Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver trusted HR advice and solutions.
The Person
We are seeking a candidate who brings:
-
Proven HR operations experience within financial services (essential).
-
In-depth knowledge of employment law, SMCR, and compliance-led HR processes.
-
A strong track record in managing employee relations matters end-to-end.
-
Excellent organisational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
-
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment while maintaining high standards.
-
CIPD qualification (or progress towards it) preferred.
The Offer
-
Join a respected financial services organisation with a collaborative, values-driven culture.
-
Gain exposure to complex regulatory frameworks and high-level HR operations.
-
Play a critical role in ensuring HR excellence and compliance across the business.
-
Benefit from professional development opportunities in a leading, well-established firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with financial services experience to step into a key operational role supporting both people and regulatory priorities.
