Are you a seasoned Corporate Affairs leader with a strong grasp of the UK political, media, and business landscape? We’re looking for a Regional Head of Corporate Affairs to drive external engagement, advocacy, and communications for a leading financial services organisation.

About the Role

In this high-profile role, you will:

  • Shape and deliver advocacy and policy strategies that influence key regulatory and political discussions.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior government, regulatory, media, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the organisation externally as a local ambassador, enhancing its reputation and impact.
  • Deliver integrated communications and high-impact campaigns aligned with commercial and reputational goals.
  • Advise senior leadership on emerging political and policy developments, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in government/politics, media, consultancy, or regulated industries.
  • Proven ability to navigate the UK political, regulatory, and business landscape.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging at senior levels.
  • Skilled communicator – confident across written, verbal, and public-facing platforms.
  • Track record in developing and executing advocacy, policy, or corporate communication strategies, including crisis management.
  • Project/campaign leadership experience in fast-paced environments.

Highly Advantageous

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Existing network of political, media, and business contacts.
  • Familiarity with financial services public policy issues.
  • Data-driven approach to refining strategy and measuring impact.
