Job Description

Primary role responsibilities include ensuring availability, safety and legal compliance of site infrastructure plant, equipment and services; leading improvement activities and supporting delivery of infrastructure projects. Client Details My client is a market leading FMCG Manufacturer with a site near Leeds. Description * Execution of planned maintenance * Timely response to unplanned events such as plant and equipment failure * Maintenance of site utilities, services and infrastructure including: * Maintenance of steam boilers and site steam distribution network * Maintenance of compressors and site compressed air distribution network * Maintenance of site heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems * Maintenance of site domestic hot and cold water systems * Maintenance of site drainage systems * General maintenance of site systems, facilities, and infrastructure * Development and maintenance of plant and equipment technical documentation * Identification and availability of spare parts * Loss and failure root cause analysis * Identification and implementation of plant and equipment reliability and efficiency improvements * Identification and implementation of cost and value improvements * Identification and implementation of environmental and sustainability improvements * Management and supervision of work carried out by contractors * Site induction of contractors * Issuing of permits to work Profile Time served Mechanical Engineer with recognized Mechanical Engineering Qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Job Offer £25,000 – £32,000* + 30% shift allowance *depending on experience This is a shift based role – Mon to Fri (7am – 3pm/2pm – 10pm weekly rotations)
