One of the UK’s leading employee benefits and pensions consulting businesses are looking for a Paraplanner to join their rapidly expanding Financial Planning team in their Liverpool office.


Working within the paraplanning team the successful candidate will be responsible for five key parts of the financial planning process:

· Preparing and maintaining the client file

· Investment and product research

· Preparing recommendations

· Implementing recommendations

· Review work


Additional duties to include:

· Identify new business opportunities for all areas of the business through building business relationships with all departments ensuring a sound understanding of department aims and objectives.

· Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of financial products and markets through ongoing attainment of professional qualifications.

· Provide assistance to other teams as and when reasonably required.


To be considered for this role you will have knowledge and experience of investments, protection, pensions, pension transfers, and financial planning with a particular interest at the ‘at retirement’ space along with experience on a range of investment platforms. You must also be working towards or achieved your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.


There is potential for this role to move into an advisory role – with full training and support –should the individual choose to develop their career in that direction.
