Our client is one of the world’s biggest names in Banking, and they are currently seeking out a Team Assistant to join them and support their Traders. This position, due to the nature of the department, is a five-day in the office role covering regular administrative tasks, perfect for an individual already used to working in an administrative function. This could be well-suited for someone who is also already doing this type of work on behalf of an agency – if you have been seeking an opportunity to go in-house (and with a prestigious name to boot), then this could very well be the role for you.
At present, this position is available as a 6-month minimum temporary contract, but there is a strong possibility for the role to extend beyond that dependent on the business’s continued success in this area. As part of your day-to-day, you will be targeting a whole range of administrative tasks to support the firm: this could be handling paperwork on new joiners and leavers, supporting on vendor management contracts, sorting data on the firm’s HRIS, and more. Other responsibilities may include:
- Producing regular reports for the HR and Rewards teams
- Delivering routine maintenance of the HR system, tracking new joiners, leavers, and job changes
- Supporting with basic diary management for individuals in the business Monitoring the mailboxes for these teams and responding to queries, escalating where appropriate
- Co-ordinating with team leaders on gathering any additional data as needed, logging into spreadsheets or the HRIS
