Our client a global investment bank is seeking to hire a TFX Data Product Owner at Associate in London
The role sits at the intersection of business, technology and user experience and is key to shifting the TFX Data Program from a reporting function to a cross-LOB effort to create data monetization products.

Key responsibilities:
 Bridge between business stakeholders (e.g. GFX Sales, GTS Product) and the development teams (e.g. TFX Tech, QSG, Mosaic) to create data products that help grow TFX revenue
Partner with stakeholders to identify data monetization opportunities
Translate business needs to relevant data products o Accountable for defining high-level epics and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
 Engage with stakeholders to provide transparency on progress, pipeline and ongoing value
Own TFX data product roadmap delivery
Understand and represent stakeholder needs to the development teams
Collaborate with developers and serve as an internal data team facilitator to ensure that deliverables are in line with expectations e.g. ? Work with QAs on the business aspect to ensure that QA is not limited to feature functionality but that the analysis makes sense (what’s important, business relevancy)
Work with developers on product build o Prioritize shorter term iteration goals (e.g. sprints, releases) while having a view on longer-term strategy
Oversee product front-end design and ensure good user experience by providing guidance on ‘best in class’ front-end development practices ? E.g. provide thought leadership to Tableau developers
Collaborate with wider FICC infrastructure teams to ensure that the TFX technology stack is aligned with FICC’s broader data strategy (e.g. ATA, FICC MIS
Own products developed in BAU, ensuring desired levels of adoption and user satisfaction 2 Skills needed The ideal candidate will be a business-oriented analytics professional with a strong technical background. (S)he will have knowledge of the FX Payments business that is complemented by the application of data management, data strategy, and emerging technologies required to deliver data products.

More specifically:
 Ability to communicate complex data analytics solutions in a concise and actionable manner to stakeholders
Experience building business cases and owning delivery of data products
Stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously in a highly dynamic and competitive environment
Ability to work as a part of a cross-functional team, in an agile manner
Technical expertise with dissecting data and creating data products (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL)
Technical familiarity with the data technology stack (e.g. Cloudera Hadoop, Apache Impala)
