One of the UK's leading investment companies is currently seeking a Business Development Executive. This role involves selling a variety of funds across the asset classes whilst retaining strong relationships with existing supporters to ensure retention and growth of existing assets from these accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Personally contribute to achieving the overall wholesale team target
• Develop a specified number of IFA/wealth management firms from prospects to fund producers each year as demonstrated through your account panels
• Demonstrate meaningful and tangible account development through adoption of the sales process
• Develop a strong product knowledge across the range of business funds and the ability to articulate these to clients in a clear and persuasive way.
• Rebuff challenges and objections when they are presented

Key capabilities:

• Telephone sales experience of within asset management or a sales support background
• Desire to move into a front office sales role
• Strong knowledge of OEIC and UCITS products.
• IMC qualification (or working towards your IMC to pass within 6 months)
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present to IFAs in a face-to-face environment when required
• An active participant in team meetings with productive thoughts and open to constructive criticism when necessary
• Ability to perform in a competitive, target driven environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to think outside the box to come up with solutions to issues
