Are you a Sourcing Specialist? We are supporting our client on a fantastic opportunity at a multinational Investment Manager to procure a Sourcing Officer to join them in their City of London offices.
As the Sourcing Manager for the business’s Corporate Services, you will be responsible for conducting business transaction in line with the firm’s policies and local legal and regulatory requirements. As someone with strong market experience, you will be able to source fantastic vendors and build excellent relationships across and outside of the business, supporting the firm in its Governance initiatives. This is a fast-paced role where you will be required to take the lead on certain procurement projects, building market understandings through performance management and partaking in regular stakeholder briefings, all while keeping accurate and auditable records across multiple categories of procurement.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Managing all business transactions in line with the firm’s guidelines, whilst independently reviewing ongoing and potential relationships
- Managing relationships and catalogue data, pricelists, and other contracts in line with business strategy
- Obtaining insights from data in order to better inform sourcing and cost modelling
- Negotiating for a large swathe of complex and non-complex contracts, tracking these agreements as appropriate
- Ensuring all local processes and procedures are documented and kept up-to-date, and dealing with ad hoc queries in a timely manner
The right candidate will have an understanding of operating in a regulated environment, and understand how to maintain all of work within regulatory and ethical guidelines. They will be able to leverage past experience of negotiations and negotiation planning, and have experience of working in a large organisation’s procurement. Strong organisational and time management skills will also be crucial for securing this role.
