Our client is one of Britain’s leading Insurance Firms, growing steadily and in the midst of acquiring various other businesses to bolster its expertise in the FS world. They are hiring now for an HR Officer and we are supporting them on their search for someone with the ability to support their HR function in growing to the next level.

Working underneath the HR Business Partner, you will be supporting as part of a wider HR Advisory team in order to ensure that the HR agenda (and every facet involved) is built-up and nurtured at every level. This could be done through supporting on ER queries and issues, educating managers on HR process, working on various HR projects to improve ongoing processes in line with overall business goals, and so on. A fundamentally Generalist role with massive scope.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • Engaging, alongside the HR BP, with various managers and colleagues within the firm to drive the HR function forward
  • Supporting on ER cases and advising as required, as well as answering HR queries from managers and colleagues across the firm
  • Providing administrative functions to the recruitment process, including attending interviews as well as providing basic onboarding for new and TUPE’d staff as they begin their journey within the firm
  • Gathering metrics and statistics to highlight to the HR BP team, as well as gathering documentation and information required by the broader HR team as required
The right person for this role will have a strong, customer-focused attitude to ensuring that client groups, stakeholders and colleagues alike within the firm are all treated with the exact high standard of professionalism and decorum. They will be able to solve issues as and when they arise, and understand how to multitask across a variety of ongoing projects for the firm. Their ability to respond to queries in a timely manner will be of high importance. Any experience working in People XD will be particularly advantageous.
