Our client is a major London Markets Insurer and are currently on the search for a talented HR Advisor / Business Partner to join them on an exciting new chapter. Reporting into the Senior HR BP, you’ll get to join a team of seven in a lean yet culturally strong work environment, supporting on a mix of strategic and operational work.

Your role in this environment will be as a true HR Generalist, covering the full gamut of HR services from employee engagement and relations, through to D&I, SMCR, and compensation. You will be able to dart through various projects and tasks at once, dipping into strategy work whilst tackling high-level administrative matters; and with a hybrid offering of three-or-four days in the office, this business is one that is looking to the ongoing and future development of its employees for its success. Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Leading and supporting on a various of HR projects and processes, such as:
    • Employee Engagement
    • Rewards
    • Diversity & Inclusivity
    • SMCR
  • Proactively working across a variety of ER cases, such as disciplinaries, absences, and complex queries
  • Supporting the HR BP and HR Managers to deliver on payroll and annual compensation processes
  • Engaging various line managers and employees to identify what they need from the HR function, and how best to engage with HR processes
  • Managing HR risk in line with business needs and regulations

The right candidate must have evidence of a degree, and preferably can demonstrate membership of a professional institution (such as CIPD). They will be a convincing and charismatic orator, have the capacity to take leadership and also foresee future needs of the business and its employees to better shape the firm's organisational structure. They will have a strong experience base from an HR Generalist background, allowing them to understand all of the differing needs and responsibilities that a good HR team must possess. As a highly visible member of the global HR team, you will be someone who, ideally, has worked in a similar role within a similar Financial Services environment.
