We are currently helping an internationally renowned asset manager holding over $700 billion in total assets working with a wide range of clients. They are looking urgently for an a Digital Channel Senior Manager to support the building of the internal digital workplace to engage, connect and inform employees across the globe. This role will work very closely with the Global Communications team, Technology/Digital team and the broader organisation to develop, maintain and owning the internal digital channel.



  • Diversifying the mix of internal digital channels to ensure each has a purpose, whilst also exploring new channels to reach over 9000 employees across the business
  • Review and refine content, layout user experience, layout and accessibility on the digital channels – utilising modern techniques and tools
  • Work with Technology Infrastructure, HR, Digital and other departments to ensure a consistent approach to digital communication
  • Manage and monitor communication channels including the email management system Poppulo, SharePoint Online intranet sites, news feeds, Yammer and Digital Signage – utilizing audience insights to inform the planning of content, including gathering insight on the usage, needs and preferences in internal, digital communication
  • Utilize evaluation and measurement metrics across the companies channels to contribute to the reporting framework – using the insight to support the broader campaign team in considering best use of the channels to identify opportunities to improve things and extend reach, producing regular reports on the effectiveness of all channels
  • Advocate digital brand guidelines and ensure they’re upheld in digital communications
  • Onboard and train content editors on the channels
  • Develop online training and support materials for departments to become self-sufficient
  • Work with the content strategist to deliver new company news feed to the intranet
  • Work with stakeholders in comms to ensure change is implemented when required to ensure
  • Become go-to expert on the implementation of the brand across all internal communications
  • Work with Technology Infrastructure to maintain platforms and channels, including selecting, testing and configuring
  • Advance UI Design with the help of the in-house digital design team
  • Advocate for the comms team and coach stakeholders on best practice and channel use
  • Work with the employee communications team, to coordinate and prioritize projects and plans


Skills & competencies

  • Experience in using a range of channels – including intranet and social media, to deliver communications plans
  • Understand technology platforms used by the company, including experience in managing the roll-out and configuration
  • Creative approach to work, including excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with Adobe, video creation platforms or other creative content tools
  • Strong project management skills – including the ability to prioritize, work quickly and accurately to meet parallel deadlines
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint Online sites and configuration, including a good understanding of web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as well as knowledge of CMS platforms at front end user (SharePoint CMS)
  • Leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Avid user of social and online news media
  • Proven collaboration across time zones and teams
  • Experience partnering with internal and external vendors and consultants
