We are supporting our client in their search for a Learning Advisor. This fantastic role within a Global Banking Organisation will be within a growing yet experienced team, and will serve as quite a stimulating opportunity for the right L&D expert!
In this position, you will support in evolving the Learning & Development strategies within the firm, utilising your awareness of best practice in the market to assist in implementing new programmes for developing staff. By understanding ongoing trends within the business and the broader market, you will be able to align the Learning & Development offerings within the firm and continue building up the excellent workforce within this team. Your relationship-building with external stakeholders as well as your ability to ensure all learning objectives are targeted will come in tandem to enable you to ensure the firm’s already exceptional employee base will continue to grow from strength to strength.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Co-ordinating the business’s development initiatives, acting as first point-of-contact for senior stakeholders looking to engage with the firm’s L&D programmes
- Monitoring and administering development plans for employees across various departments in the firm, aiding them to achieve greater success
- Support on facilitating a variety of workshops and bespoke training programmes, such as managing the annual delivery of compliance training
- Managing external training providers (such as those responsible for certification programmes relevant to the business’s employeebase)
The right candidate for this role will have a thorough understanding of all things L&D, having come from a Financial Services firm. They will be a creative and innovative individual, able to develop the Learning & Development programmes for this group, and will be able to feedback to Senior Management on the outcomes on training, establishing which processes work and which ones need further evolution. They will also be able to lend their overall L&D expertise to other areas of the business on an ad-hoc basis as and when needed, reviewing and monitoring any other L&D related reports.
