Are you an Office Manager working in the Financial Services? Feeling under-challenged in your current role, or maybe looking for a new change of scenery?  Then the role we are working on currently might be the perfect fit for you: an Office Manager role with an additional HR flair on top. This role would be with a boutique Investment Manager who are seeking an Office Manager (with no previous HR experience necessary!) to join them and oversee the office as well as the Administrative teams, lending some administrative support to HR functions as needed.

In this role, your primary function as an Office Manager will involve liaising with the owners of the firm to ensure all ongoing administrative functions are actioned as needed. That can include maintaining office and IT equipment, overseeing procurement as necessary; ensuring compliance with Health & Safety within the office, liaising with other departments to ensure this compliance; and reviewing incoming communications and distribution lists to ensure comms flow smoothly to their intended recipients both within and outside the firm. The HR aspect of this role will involve maintaining records on the firm's HRIS as needed, and managing low-level disciplinary and employee compliance matters. 

Some of your other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the recruitment processes (assisting in onboarding and contract documentation)
  • Ensuring day-to-day technical requirements within the office are met, liaising with external contacts for any repairs or procurements
  • Reviewing incoming communications and distributing as needed, gatekeeping access to senior stakeholders if needed
  • Taking on ad-hoc matters within the Office, such as administering the sick and holiday rotas

This role requires an individual with experience as an Office Manager in the Financial Services space, with the ability to work discretely and maintain maximum confidentiality throughout all their workings. You would be liaising with the Board of Directors and supporting them through your management of the Office and other miscellanea within HR as necessary.
