An exciting opportunity with a well-renowned Insurance Firm has recently opened, one sure to keep any HR Business Partner on their toes. A role offering hybrid-working as their HR Business Partner, you will be supporting a firm going through a highly complex TUPE process, working closely alongside stakeholders to aid in the transferral and mapping processes for the business, as well as taking on other Generalist functions in the HR process. This can include supporting on their policies on employment, educating business leaders on a wide variety of generalist functions, such as ER, Learning & Development, and assisting in developing the overall HR strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Taking charge of various HR initiatives, primarily focusing on the Mergers & Acquisitions function
  • Establishing working connections and growing important relationships with leaders within the business
  • Overseeing various initiatives across the firm, such as Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and so on
  • Advising senior stakeholders on complex ER
  • Partnering with business managers to provide 1-to-1 coaching for current and up-and-coming individuals within the business
  • Taking on any ad-hoc specialist projects to further develop the HR function

The right candidate must have demonstrable experience working on a Mergers & Acquisitions project, and preferably can demonstrate membership of a professional institution (such as CIPD). They will be a convincing and charismatic orator, have the capacity to take leadership and also foresee future needs of the business and its employees to better shape the firm's organisational structure. They will have experience working internationally with other offices, and will have a cultural understanding to be able to offer appropriate mentorship across all key areas of the business. Finally, their experience base will come from an HR Generalist background, allowing them to understand all of the differing needs and responsibilities that a good HR team must possess.
