The Role and Company:

 

Bruin are on the lookout for a Sustainability Manager/ Associate Director to join our client, an FTSE-100 listed asset manager, currently managing $70bn of assets. Our client recognise that environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues can be an important drive of investment value and source of investment risk.

 

Our client are seeking a Sustainability Manager/ Associate Director to join their existing and well-established ESG/ Sustainability team to drive engagement and innovation. This new role is an important and integral role on this important area of ESG. Across all strategies, the primary function will work closely with the Business, Investment teams and portfolio companies to add value to our investors through the setting of ESG frameworks

 

Essential Responsibilities of the role:

 

  • Support the establishment, monitoring and measurement of ESG KPIs and targets across specific fund strategies where we have more influence and access to management
  • Support the implementation of ESG framework across all fund strategies
  • Supporting the implementation of ESG framework across the strategies
  • Support the development of new ESG initiatives e.g. sustainable fund strategies and industry initiatives
  • Manage Annual ESG Survey processes, including analysing data and following up on responses

 

Suitable candidate profiles:

  •  inquisitive, self-motivated, engaged, collaborative and agile.
  • Within your broader experience, you will have demonstrable experience of at least 5/6 years+ in relevant ESG roles
  • Analytical & Results focused
