We are looking for an experienced assistant manager to become a much-valued full time member of staff at our privately owned multi award winning Derbyshire pub / restaurant. Our established team is passionate about serving exceptional food with exceptional service so we are looking for a like-minded individual who is passionate about developing their career.
The assistant manager will take an operational role, lead by example to inspire the team and have a real presence in the restaurant. There will be exciting opportunities to drive the business forward with the general manager and the chef patron, who you will work closely with. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience and have a good understanding on how to work in a team to deliver great customer service.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager who
Can manage the restaurant ensuring the team are fully trained and consistent in all aspects of service.
Has a good eye for detail to ensure high standards are maintained to maximise guest satisfaction
Has good knowledge and is passionate about great food and wine
Has experience in a similar role in a quality establishment
Can help manage stock and budgets
Has flair and creativity to develop the business
Is able to ensure opportunities for business development are utilised for example devise and market restaurant events
