Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior auditors across the full lifecycle of audits including planning, fieldwork and reporting
  • Preparing high quality workpapers and helping shape final audit reports
  • Contributing to risk assessments, continuous monitoring and the annual audit plan
  • Supporting investigations, special reviews and ad hoc projects
  • Keeping informed on regulatory developments, emerging risks and new technologies
  • Validating the closure of management action plans

Skillset

  • Experience in internal or external audit or assurance within Banking
  • A good understanding of retail and corporate banking products, risks and controls
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with the confidence to challenge
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships across the business
  • Data analytics capability is helpful but not essential
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or similar are welcomed
