Role
My client is looking for an experienced Senior Authorised Person to provide technical expertise with the issue of Permits for Work and Limitation of Access along with Sanction for Test to achieve safety for those under the SAP supervision.
Working as part of a team, the successful Senior Authorised Person will be responsible for the technical and engineering input to ensure delivery of programmes of work as well as offering effective engineering solutions and considering the overall cost, safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• Issue of Permits of Work
• Issue Sanctions for Test
• Carry out appropriate operational activity to achieve safety from the system in all aspects of delivery across the network, appropriate levels of authorisation apply
• Switching on the DNO electrical system
• Coordinate the delivery with programme team as appropriate
• Provide advice to the programme team on technical suitability of initial solution offered pre investment proposal

The successful Senior Authorised Person will already, or most recently, be working in this position and will have experience in working on projects involving 11Kv, 33Kv and/or 132Kv Mains works.
You will be qualified to degree standard or equivalent to support your experience.
