Electrical ICA Tendering Engineer - Water Industry - Warwickshire

The Company
Global provider of clean and waste water solutions with a $7 Billion turnover. In Warwickshire the company deliver projects for Europe the Middle East and Africa and are going through an aggressive growth phase having recruited three engineers recently. The business is looking to bolster its electrical expertise by recruiting for an electrical engineer.

The Role
You will be responsible for all electrical aspects of the the tendering process for clients in Africa, Europe and the Middle East and your typical responsibilities will include:

-  Constructing enquiries for electrical equipment and to review and evaluate supplier quotations
-  Provide expert knowledge on all aspects of Electrical and ICA systems for water and waste water treatment
-  Specifying coding requirements for PLC’s
-  Reviewing specifications and drawings to ensure that electrical work is in line with contract specification
-  Compiling load schedules for MCC’s
-  Create instrument lists
-  Create cable schedules

The Candidate
The client needs a candidate who has experience in power distribution and is a confident electrical engineer. You should be able to calculate I/O schedules but do not need to PLC programme. It would be highly advantageous if you had experience in HV power distribution and were degree qualified.

It is also important they you have a background in tendering work or are very motivated to move into this area.

Starting basic salary is £30,000 - 40,000
