Single and Three Phase Meter Installers required to work on a self employed basis completing mostly domestic meter exchanges within the M25 (pre-assigned and close proximity postcode region per day)

To be considered for this position you will need to have previously worked within the metering industry for a Meter Installation Contractor or DNO and currently hold a Mop/Mocopa authorisation to work as a meter installer.

Please note that electricians who have installed meters but have not previously held at least a Single Phase Metering permit to operate will not be suitable for this position.

This is a self employed position and all applicants must provide their own vehicle (van), plus pay for their own fuel and provide proof of Public Liability Insurance to the minimum value of £1m. As you will be completing meter exchanges within residential premises, Criminal Record Checks will also be completed on all applicants wishing to work on this contract.

Work will be allocated via a varying mix of cold calling and pre-arranged appointments within set postcode areas of London. You will be required to act as a representative for our Client and plan your own working day on occasions.

Please note, you will be paid on a per meter exchanged/fitted price rate and the per day earnings pay rate quoted is an average indication of what you can expect to earn whilst working on this contract.

It will be possible for you to earn in excess of £1,000 per week on this contract, depending on your own approach to customers, your work ethic and your organisational skills. This work should last for at least six months and perhaps even longer, if required for the hardest working installers.

Applicants with electrical qualifications as well as the required metering experience will have a distinct advantage.
