An excellent opportunity has come available for skilled and Scottish Power authorised electrical meter installers to join a long term contract with a national metering contractor. The successful candidate will already have been trained in Three Phase and preferably CT metering and be able to work effectively on their own initiative and without supervision.

Due to our Client’s specific requirements, electricians who have not previously worked for a metering contractor/electrical supplier and have not been MOP/MOCOPA audited and inducted will not be suitable for this position on this occasion.

Applicants who hold electrical qualifications (16th or 17th Edition or equivalent) and metering skills to CT standard will have a distinct advantage, although the electrical qualifications are not essential if you can prove your knowledge within the metering industry.

This position offers an excellent per meter installation rate of £22.00 plus you will receive the use of a company vehicle, fuel card and all tools.

Competent engineers should expect to earn between £500 and £650 per week on this contract which will last to at least the end of 2010 for hard working installers.
