Qualified electrical engineers who have been trained to MOCOPA / DNO standards in the installation of Single Phase Metering systems are required to work on an Agency Temporary Worker basis in Central London.
You will have to supply you own tools, vehicle, cover the cost of your own fuel and pay for your own parking expenses. A Basic Criminal Record Disclosure will also need to be completed, at your own expense. You will also need to provide Public Liability Insurance cover (although this can be arranged for you at a low weekly fee).
In return you will be paid £15.00 for every meter that you install each week. For any meters that you install within the Congestion Charge Zone you will receive an increase of 75p per installation.
Competent Installers can expect to complete between 40 and 60 installations per week based upon hours and number of days worked.
Work will be allocated to you via a Hand Held Terminal and will consist of a mix of pre-booked appointments and a warm call list. The more proactive you are when it comes to arranging the warm call appointments, the more money you will earn each week
Prior to commencement of work, you will be required to attend a 5 Day Health and Safety Induction and Training Course which will involve a MOCOPA exam at the end of the week. You will be paid £50 per day for this Training to cover the cost of your expenses, although this payment will not be paid to you until you have completed four weeks work. Work will start on the Monday following the MOCOPA Exam.
Encore Energy will pay you weekly in arrears on a Friday for all work completed (with the exception of the Induction).
Training Courses will be starting at the end of August and the start of September.
This contract offers the possibility to earn a high weekly wage for hard working electrical metering engineers for the foreseeable future.
