The role of Tendering Support Manager
This role, similar duties as a Bid Manager or Bid Coordinator, is a key function in producing competitive, customised and high quality proposals. It includes:-
- interpretation of customers requirements
- develop a response strategy (either on your own or as part of the team)
- develop and draft services sections, SOW, Project Schedule etc.
- 3rd party engagement
- Complete Services Business Case
Your experience coming into the role of Tendering Support Manager
- Some product knowledge
- able to analyse customer requirements
- Strong commercial writing skills
- basic knowledge of contract law
- able to build an excellent internal network
- mange concurrent projects
- decisive and able to work well under pressure
- able to deal at all levels within an organisation
- degree qualified ideally in Telecommunications or Business
- knowledge of the telecoms market
- project management abilities
