Operations Manager - Software / Systems Integration - Berkshire - £55k to £70k + car allowance + bonus + bens

We require an Operations Manager to ensure delivery of our customers multi-million pound, OSS / BSS Software Systems Integration and Consultancy programmes. Multi-platform, £XXM software, COTS and bespoke integration solutions.

The company are a large international company primarily relating to the telecoms market but with a strong IT presence too.

Background for Operations Manager - Software. Your experience will be from either Operations Management or Programme Management of software systems integrations, ideally into a network or telecoms environment. (OSS, BSS) These must have been in a structured framework such as SCRUM, Agile, Waterfall etc. You should also be used to working to best practices such as ITIL or any telecoms related such as TMF, DSL, ITU etc..

Additional mandatory experience for the role of Operations Manager - Software:-
- managed large teams - 40-60 staff
- large budgets - £10M +
- Multiple application software implementations (inc. testing)
- Systems integration of multiple (multi-platform) applications
- managed the successful software development and software integration of applications into an Operations environment (i.e. integrating software applications into a network environment)
- familiar with some of - Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, ITIL, TMF, DSL etc.
- qualified in a formal project management methodology - e.g. Prince2, PMI PMP, AMP etc.
- P&L responsibilities
- customer focussed
- vendor management, offshoring / offshore development
- pricing and costing models
