Head of Inventory Operations – electronic capital equipment

As a globally recognised brand, my client’s business enjoys an enviable trading position, a stable & growing customer base and well developed Supply Chain and operational processes. Their multi-site Supply Chain operation services new and existing customer needs across the UK, supplying new document imaging systems as well as maintaining and repairing current equipment both at customers premises and in-house. Internal staff developments have given rise to this exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain professional to genuinely make an impression.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will have three main areas of responsibility; Supply Chain, Technical Services & Warehousing/Stock Management. With heads of each of these teams reporting in to you for leadership support and guidance in such a customer orientated environment, you are guaranteed a challenging and exciting time. Strategically you will be heavily involved in the on-going development of your teams, from core value setting to ‘SMART’ style performance management. Functionally and operationally you will ensure appropriate levels of stock and inventory through accurate demand planning, master scheduling and supply analysis.

As the successful candidate you will already have a minimum of 7-10 years experience of warehousing, logistics and technical installation combined with well honed man-management skills gained in a multi-site environment. You will be comfortable compiling, analysing and presenting management reports and you will be IT literate. Last but by no means least you will be able to make decisions and act upon them.
