Leading Healthcare company, situated in Oxfordshire are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for management of Storage and Distribution and Purchasing functions, ensuring warehousing and inventory management of raw materials, components, intermediate, finished products and expired stock in accordance with GMP, in addition to timely and effective distribution of materials to the relevant destinations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
A first degree or appropriate experience within Logistics as a warehouse manager or depot manager; ideally within the pharmaceuticals industry.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Supply or Logistics \ Purchasing environment (possibly wholesale or retail).People management skills and experience. Proficient in standard Microsoft and Sage applications.

Key Responsibilities
To assist Business Development where necessary in the costing of Storage & Distribution and other projects.
Responsible for receipt of raw materials, components, intermediate and finished products and expired stock (drug, packaging components and consumables), in conjunction with QA, ensuring availability of released materials to meet the manufacturing or client packaging schedule.
To manage the Stores function to ensure correct segregation and storage of materials and maintenance of correct storage environments.
To manage the departmental key metrics including analysis of data and implementation of continuous improvement programmes.
To review, generate reports and trend any CAPA/deviations in relation to operational quality and implement preventative actions where necessary allowing timely closure of documentation.
In conjunction with Project Management, to ensure efficient inventory management including maintenance of drug, components and consumables supply.To provide inventory information to clients as required or according to agreed schedule.
In conjunction with Project Management, to schedule and manage the despatch orders to meet contractual deadlines. To track the orders and follow up on delivery if required. To ensure that time capture is completed for the billing process on a monthly basis.
To manage the returns, inventory, reconciliation and timely destruction of returned study materials in addition to managing the formal closedown procedure.
In conjunction with the Head of Clinical Services and Head of Site Services, to ensure that the provision and maintenance of the stores’ plant and equipment are adequate to meet the requirements of the business, including regulatory requirements.
To devise, review, implement and manage systems within the group, including communication and information management as part of continuous improvement.
To comply with Company Policies including internal and external Health & Safety and Environmental Standards as required.
