A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Biostatistics Manager to join a forth coming Clinical Research Organisation in their Berkshire Office. This fantastic role is ideal for a driven Senior Biostatistician looking to move up the career ladder.

As the Biostatistics Manager you will be accountable for the Statistical Department within the company’s maidenhead office. You will assume line management responsibilities that include hiring new staff, training and developing existing members of the team and carrying out disciplinary measures when required. You will act as the statistical consultant for both external clients and the in house statistical team, providing statistical input into other disciplines’ activities and you will take part in interdepartmental processes. An ability to communicate on a variety of different levels in required as you will represent the company as the primary technical contact and in the development of contracts, interacting with senior client personnel in negotiation and coordination.

Successful candidates should have an MSc in statistics or related discipline. Ideally 5 years plus experience working in a clinical research organisation or pharmaceutical company as a senior statistician or line manager is required. A sound knowledge of SAS and advanced statistical programs is essential!
