A Specialist Pharmaceutical services company is currently seeking a Research Statistician to join them in their welcoming statistics team in the Berkshire office. This challenging and varied role is ideal for an experienced statistician looking to develop their career within a forth coming company.

As the Research Statistician you will be working along side the established statistical team, creating statistical analysis plans, conducting QC checks on study analysis and analysis outputs. In addition you will be expected to advise research staff in general statistical projects on statistical models in SAS and the general data handling processes. You should need to have good understanding of customer’s demands and ensure that you adhere to client’s specific budgets and deadlines. In this varied role as the research statistician you may also be expected to train and mentor junior members of the team and new employees.

Successful candidates should have a BSc in statistics or related discipline. Ideally 12 months plus experience as a statistician within a clinical research organistion or pharmaceutical company, a good knowledge of ICH-GCP and SAS is essential.
