Paramount Clinical Research: Clinical Programmer – North East

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a clinical programmer to join a leading clinical research organisation based in Sheffield. This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or a junior programmer to develop their career in an international company.

As the programmer within their biostatistics unit your role will be to work independently programming derived datasets, tables and lists, along with assisting with the manufacture of analysis plans. Other technical duties will include performing quality control checks on the derived dataset and both simple and advanced tables, figures and data listings produced by the biostatistics team. You should have a good understanding of CDISC, 21 CRF part 11 and electronic submissions, as you will be expected to use them regularly. You will also be expected to liaise with clients, providing them with both technical advice and project update, ensuring that you adhere to the client’s specific budgets and timelines.

As a successful candidate you should have a BSc in statistics or related discipline, along with a qualification in SAS. Ideally you should have twelve months + experience within a clinical research organisation or pharmaceutical company. You should be familiar with CDISC, 21 CRF part 11 and electronic submissions with good communication and interpersonal skills being a strong advantage.
