Senior Drug Safety Specialist - Uxbridge

A leading Contract Research Organisation is seeking a Drug Safety Specialist to join their team in the UK office in Uxbridge. This organisation has operations in over 40 countries globally and employs over 6000 people. The company offers a complete range of services to the pharmaceutical sector including drug development, regulatory consulting, clinical pharmacology, clinical trials and medical education.

As a senior drug safety specialist you will act as the project lead and be responsible for project specific safety reporting. Your key duties will include developing a safety databases and assessment of case reports for seriousness and expectedness. You will also be responsible for relevant case reconciliation and provision of line listings and tabulations for safety reports.

Suitable candidates will need to have a degree in a medical science discipline such as nursing life science or pharmacy. You should have also gained relevant experience in a healthcare environment and have a good understanding of drug safety and drug development processes. You will need to be a confident communicator and have excellent interpersonal skills.
