The successful applicant will have a challenging and varied role, working in brand new state of the art laboratories you will become part of an award winning team and will be involved in using cutting-edge cell culture techniques to design, assemble and conduct cell-based assays.

Working within the brand new purpose built contract screening centre, you will work with technology at the fore front of drug discovery and develop assays solutions for a number of leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will educated to BSc, MSc or PhD level in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Physiology or equivalent. You will ideally have between 1-2 years experience as a Research Biologist and have experience within: creating mammalian cell culture lines, developing assays and heterologous expression of membrane proteins. You will also be familiar with micro-titre based assays and detailed pharmacological analysis.
