R & D Manager – North Humberside – Healthcare

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a large healthcare company for a R&D Manager based at their site in North Humberside. This particular company have an extensive portfolio of global healthcare products.

As a Research & Design Manager / Category Manager you will be looking after a market leading brand and will be responsible for:

Leading a team of staff through the development of exciting new products, and the enhancement of existing ones.
Generating the technical content of Project Development Briefs.
Motivating the team and helping each member of staff to achieve their full potential.
Ensuring that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Understanding what the company’s competitors are doing and respond to their developments in a positive way.

The ideal candidate will poses a 2:1 degree in a scientific area, will have experience and knowledge of cosmetic regulations and will have good negotiation and management skills. Previous experience within a large healthcare or FMCG company would be an advantage.
