Paramount clinical research:Experienced Statistician, Cambridge

A fantastic role has arisen for an experience statistician to join an international clinical research organisation based in Cambridge. This excellent opportunity offers a statistician the chance to further their career in challenging and exciting role.

As the statistician you role will be to collection, analyze, interpret and present data for all phases of clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include the analysis of clinical data from various clinical studies, validating SAS programs for various clinical studies and developing Statistical Analysis Plans for assigned clinical studies. You will also need to review assigned clinical protocols to provide statistical methodology sections and generate randomization of assigned projects. In addition you will be responsible for training and mentoring the SAS programmers and should be able to communicate on a variety of levels as you will be liaising with clients and other departments.

As a successful candidate you should have an MSc in Statistics or related discipline. Ideally two years+ as a statistician for a clinical research organisation or pharmaceutical company, with a sound knowledge of SAS is also required. You should also have a good knowledge or ICP-GCP and experience training and mentoring junior members of staff. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also an advantage.
