Drug Safety Associate – Growing Pharmaceutical Services Organisation

This growing provider of services for the pharmaceutical sector is seeking a confident Drug Safety Associate to join their team in their offices in Hitchin. This company is well established and offers various services to the pharmaceutical sector such as clinical research, regulatory affairs, drug safety and communications. The company prides itself on offering a complete range of services to bring new drugs to market efficiently. This organisation currently employs 50 people and has ambitious expansion plans.

As a Drug Safety Associate you will be responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and distributing of adverse event reports. Some of your key duties will include;

•Processing and data entry of SAE reports
•Writing medical narratives with input from a physician
•Development and maintenance of SAE files and tracking systems.
•Collation and analysis of drug safety data for submission to sponsors

Suitable candidates for this position should have a degree in a life science subject. You will also need to have some experience of working in a drug safety / pharmacovigilance role.
