A leading bioinformatics scientific research team in the heart of London are on the hunt for a new Bioinformatician to join their scientific research group. This opening is ideal for a bioinformatician or biostatistician, who is confident in their scripting and data analysis expertise in Bioconductor/R and Perl.

Joining a rapidly growing research unit, the successful applicant will play a key part in the development of new scientific methods for the analysis of biological data sets. You will be involved in all technical aspects for the group from statistical data analysis in R to Perl programming and IT support within the bioinformatics research department.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a PhD level in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or related discipline with hands on experience in the analysis of biological data – (R/Bioconductor). You will have a good grounding in Perl scripting along with MySQL experience for the storage and management of scientific data.
