My Client provides switching and protection solutions for electrical distribution systems.
They currently have a requirement for a Regional Sales Manager.
You will manage the sales of the complete company product range into the Midlands Region of the UK with particular emphasis on securing the relevant Contracts with the Electricity Companies (DNO’s).
In addition, focus on Sale of company products for large industrial schemes and large commercial enterprises.
The candidate would be home-based, but would be required in the office regularly.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1.Preparation of tenders with the assistance of the product specialists.
2.Follow up of tenders, clarify and convert to orders.
3.Responsibility for the regional sales budget and forecast.
4.Coordinate marketing activity for the Region acting as Account Manager.
5.Gain appropriate Client approvals or specification for projects.
KEY SKILLS:
1.Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a one on one or group environment
2.Computer literate with excellent command of spreadsheet and project planning tools
3.Good command of the English language, contract law and terms and conditions
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience of switchgear, HV (11KV) & LV, DNO’s
2.Electrical or mechanical engineering degree / HND
3.Five years minimum experience in sales engineering
4.Ability to negotiate contracts and close orders leading to profitable solutions for Lucy Switchgear
