My Client provides advanced online recruitment technology services to a number of industries.
The continued expansion of their sales and marketing operation in the light of new orders and a burgeoning requirement in the marketplace for their recruitment technology has brought about the need for this person.
They currently have a requirement for a Sales Executive - New Business Development.
You will introduce their online recruitment technology services to potential new customers and to book face to face meetings or online presentations with prospects.
You will research potential customers in new vertical markets, obtaining the names of the HR Director, the Recruitment Manager and the Chief Financial Officer and presenting the company to those people over the telephone.
You will conduct face to face meetings with prospective new customers to ascertain potential requirements, demonstrate product solutions, generate need/immediacy in potential customers, check all “knockout factors” as agreed with Sales Director and to close business with new customers.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute extensively to company growth over the next 12 to 24 months. As the sales and marketing team expands, opportunities will arise for this Sales Executive to progress into a management position at a later date. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn healthy sales commissions and to gain more experience in the software solutions sales arena working with a leading edge technology product.
Package:
Base salary £35,000 to £40,000 p.a. plus commission plus potential performance based bonus; OTE £55,000 to £65,000 p.a. (uncapped)
Based on average order value of £42,000 per annum
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the recruitment software arena, being experienced in selling software services/products or selling services within this sector.
You will need to be articulate with a high standard of written English. Experience of preparing quotations/tenders would be highly advantageous, as would a good knowledge of Powerpoint.
The successful candidate will be a self motivated individual, able to learn quickly, able to apply themselves with vigour to new tasks, to understand the importance of meeting sales targets and they will also be very much a team player.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of delivery against targets backed up by referenceable evidence.
