My Client develops and manufactures miniature filtering antennas for mobile, wireless and handheld devices.
They currently have an immediate requirement for a Sales Engineer.
They are looking for an energetic individual who works as well in a team as under their own
initiative, who has solid technical knowledge of the electronics industry with particular
reference to mobile and GPS platforms.
Job Specification:
Support sales team: provide and follow up quotations and leads, co-ordinate sample
requests and sales materials, co-ordinate technical sales & applications support.
Customer relations: deal with customer enquiries, manage customer database, contract
negotiations and account creation, receive & check orders, manage customer complaint
process. Manage customer visits both on and off site.
Distributor network: manage the global distribution network.
Marketing materials, literature & website: maintain & distribute product
information for new & existing products, support writing of press releases & web
content, support marketing projects.
Reports: assist with preparation of monthly sales forecasts and other related reports.
Ensure ISO9001 compliance for Sales & Marketing.
Person Specification:

Technical product knowledge.

Good organisational skills.
Flexible approach.
Experience required:
Current strong technical experience in electronics industry.
Sales experience with a rep or distribution firm.
Particular reference to mobile communication & GPS platforms.
Wide breadth of knowledge, particularly electrical engineering.
Willing to travel, UK and international, up to 20% of the time.
