My Client is one of the world’s leading learning solution providers.

They currently have a requirement for an Account Manager.

Reports to:Sales Manager
Direct reports:None

Purpose of the role:
To actively build strategic, profitable relationships with our top clients to develop business opportunities and increase sales. To professionally represent the company and raise their profile in the market place.

Responsibilities:
Establish strong, trusting client relationships over the telephone and face to face, at a senior management levels
Develop networks and contacts within assigned clients
Generate revenue from new customers.
Steer the activities of the service delivery teams, to ensure a first class client service
Contribute to the business plan and strategy
Maintain a working knowledge of company products and services to identify cross selling opportunities.

Create high quality, winning proposals
Discuss and understand customer business challenges and recommend skills development solutions
Proactively manage opportunity pipeline
Meet a monthly and annual sales target and other KPIs
Keep accurate records of all contacts and information sent on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Critical Skills required:
Ability to lead account team, involving logistics, 3rd party suppliers and trainers, to deliver services which achieve client satisfaction
Ability to effectively network at all levels
Ability to deliver sales propositions articulately and convincingly, both verbal and written
Ability to organise own workload effectively
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

Critical Knowledge required:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Prior knowledge of training environment and learning methodologies.

Qualifications Required:

Essential:
Education to A-level or equivalent
Structured sales training with learning log and documented successes

Desirable:
Degree
Management training

Experience Required:
Essential:
Minimum 3 years account management experience in a training or eLearning solutions environment
Proven face to face and telephone sales skills
Excellent presentation skills
Account management of key client within a business services environment

Desirable:
Sales project team management
