My client is the worlds leading international aerospace and defence company who are currently looking for a Internal Recruiter / Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Toulouse, France. You should be experienced in sourcing and placing technical professionals (preferably from IT, Software, Communications or Aerospace backgrounds). You MUST be fluent in English and preferably have some french language skills - although this is not essential.
The Sourcing Specialist will report to the Global Sourcing Manager
During the project phase, the role mainly consists in creating candidate pre-selection short lists for open job positions and in managing availability of talent pool on an ongoing basis. Then, once the project enters its run-mode, the role will ideally move to a permanent role as a sourcing specialist:
You will be expected to be:
- Identifying prospect candidates and offers job opportunities to candidates
- Inviting candidates to apply for open positions and creates profiles in tool.
- Discussing with Recruiting Specialist the exact skills and qualifications to best matching candidates to develop sourcing strategy
- A point of contact for eRecruiting-team for tool improvement in terms of sourcing
- Fill positions posting of vacancies on appropriate job boards, career websites and other approved medias
- For more difficult positions this may include using sophisticated Internet search techniques to locate passive candidates, proactively initiating referrals from employees, alumni, universities, personal networks and people databases, cooperation with recruitment agencies
Sourcing Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Searching tool
- Searching online resume databases
- Posting jobs to multiple career sites (internal and external)
- Conducting Internet research using Internet search engines such as Google or Yahoo
- Utilizing online research tools
- Searching Social Networks. Also creating personal networks within these sites for future use
- Creating targeted email campaigns for prospect candidates
- May involve maintenance of client employment blogs
- Participate at career fairs and HR marketing activities.
Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for:
- Pro-actively ensuring appropriate candidate pool, based on staffing plan
- Ensuring candidate interest in client job opportunity
- Publishing and phrasing job postings (target-group oriented)
- Preparing the candidate interview process.
Skills and Requirements
Initial valid qualification assessment of candidates will be required. This may be executed through visual screening of resumes to ensure matching with job requirements and pro-actively requesting lacking information directly through eRecruiting to the candidate.

- Analytics skills to be able to read a job requirement and think of
creative ways to find people with similar skills such as trade
organisations, speciality schools, conferences or user groups
- Ability to match prospect candidates to open client requisitions with
a high degree of success

- Excellent communication skills
Technical skills
Expert at Internet search including webcrawling techniques
- Analytical thinking similar to solving a puzzle
- Ability to quickly grasp job skills, competencies and industry knowledge to translate into searching avenues to find candidates
- Experience with blogging, social networking software/sites, chat rooms, discussion groups, user communities, online research tools, job boards and web technologies a plus.
Behavioural skills
Ability to find “needle in haystack” information on the web quickly
and resourcefully.

Language Skills
English negotiation level. (Mandatory)
French negotiation level. (Preferred)
Good knowledge of another language (Spanish/German) will be a plus.
Must be willing to relocate to Toulouse. This position will initially be a fixed term contract in view of becoming permanent. For the right candidate you will be rewarded handsomely with an excellent remuneration package.
