THE COMPANY
This business is well established as the UK’s leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical components and systems for the rail industry. Since being acquired by a global organisation 10 years ago the company has gone through a rapid growth period which has seen head count triple and turnover grow to 200m. As part of their continued expansion there is a need to recruit a power sales manager to help develop the business.
THE ROLE
Your role as power sales manager will be to promote the company’s range of Overhead Electrification and Power Distribution Systems. Selling into network rail and it’s associated contractors you will be working on high order value projects over long lead times. This role will require you to build strong technical and commercial relationships with a wide variety of contacts as you work your way through the bid process.
THE CANDIDATE
Our client is only currently accepting applications to meet the following criteria;
1. Sold extensively into the rail industry
2. Sold electrical or power solutions
3. Familiar with project based sales
