The role is for a Production Planner / Buyer for a manufacturing company:

This role will entail:

Planning production jobs through the shopfloor using labour and machine resources.

Good communication skills will be essential while dealing with suppliers, purchasing raw materials to ensure that material is ready for production.

Purchasing of ancillary items as necessary.

We are currently installing a new MRP system (Syteline) which will be used for planning and purchasing, and so experience of MRP would be highly beneficial.

Proven ability in a similar role is required.
