Senior Linux Systems Administrator – Redhat / Centos / Puppet / Kickstart / Shell

A global commerce solutions firm are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join their team in London.

The successful Senior Linux System Administrator should come from a hosting environment and will enjoy leadership in key projects and make key strategic decisions to help improve and advance the growing eCommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead key projects, such as data centre architecture, capacity planning, upgrades and migrations.
•Work closely with the systems, service desk and eBusiness strategy teams to support customers by solving technical issues.
•Provide application and platform support, including configuration management and deploying new services into the platform
•Manage and support the production systems and networks to high levels of availability, performance and security.

Key Skills:
•Linux Redhat/Centos
•Puppet / kickstart / Cobbler automation
•Systems programming: Shell/Perl
•Apache/DNS software skills
•Virtualisation skills: Xen/VMware
•Knowledge of networking, firewalls, routers etc.
