With around 300 employees this small family run group are based in the North of England and have a tradition that goes back as far as the 1960’s. They pride themselves in having friendly and approachable staff that will go out of their way to ensure all customer needs are met. They are currently going through a significant phase of growth that has seen them assemble a fantastic infrastructure, which includes central warehousing, IT, admin and buying departments all under one roof. Their own warehouse ensures they have a competitive edge with their supply chain. The central support functions together with their team of area managers and staff, coordinates well to ensure that their pharmacists and staff receive all the support and training necessary to run a successful, professional pharmacy business.



Branch



Similar to all their branches this store has a nice welcoming atmosphere and a very good level of shop fit. They are currently going through a significant phase of refurbishment and growth across the whole business with the main aim to provide support for the work of the Pharmacist. All their pharmacies are well equipped and are supported by highly trained team members and a separate consultation room.



The branch has a large monthly script volume and a well-supported qualified team in place. The opening hours for this branch are Monday to Friday 09:00-18:30 so there is no weekend work required at all.



Role

As a family owned business they have the advantage of being able to react quickly and positively to changes and their Pharmacists are encouraged to input ideas and work with external bodies to meet the needs of their patients.



Our client is looking for an experienced manager who can motivate others and help drive the business forward. The right candidate must be MUR and NMS accredited and display a proactive attitude to services.



Training & Development



All of our client’s staff are trained to nationally recognised standards and encouraged through annual performance reviews to treat learning as an integral part of their role. The company will help support Pharmacists ascertain the relevant accreditations depending on the areas covered.
