My client are currently looking for qualified individuals to join their Power Station Chemistry, Graphite and Steels team paying a salary of £28 - £50K depending on qualifications and experience.
The client provides support to the UK nuclear industry as a whole, and provides the successful candidates with the opportunity to be involved in supporting customers with current operating plant and new build.
The successful individual would be expected to have a degree or PhD in Chemistry, and would be working on topics covering all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, with an emphasis on operation and decommissioning of nuclear power stations.
Experience in the areas of ion exchange, corrosion, radiation chemistry, materials irradiation , coolant chemistry or computer modelling would be advantageous but not essential.
