Senior Medical Writer – Medical Communications – Hertfordshire

A hugely successful global Medical Communications Agency has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Medical Writer with experience of oncology, diabetes and cardiology to join their established editorial team for a maternity cover position.
This superb role will give you the opportunity to work closely with and build strong relationships with some of the world’s most renowned healthcare companies.
As a senior writer you will be working alongside the business development group, account teams and managers in order to create proposals in accordance with client briefs, objectives and expectations which in turn will result in great success.

You will be responsible for the copywriting and checking of scientific materials and medical information and will produce and edit graphic panels, publications, meeting and scripts etc.
Also as a senior member of the team one of your main responsibilities will be to ensure you assist in the maximisation of any sales opportunities that arise, particularly those in respect to med comms initiatives.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a writer within healthcare communications and will have previous experience or knowledge across a variety of therapy areas.
