Senior Clinical Research Physician – Hampshire - Clinical Research

A growing global Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) based in Southampton currently has opportunity available for a Senior Clinical Research Physician.

As a Senior Clinical Research Physician you will be working on studies from phases I- IV, mainly within the oncology therapeutic area. Your overall position will be to ensure that the studies are conducted in an ethical manor and to the highest medical standards in accordance with good pharmacovigilance practices. You will be responsible for:

• Reporting adverse events to the client.
• Following up adverse events, as required.
• Communicating safety issues to the departmental head.
• Providing on-call medical support.
• Training the project team in particular therapeutic areas, when needed.
• Contributing any medical input into the clinical and statistical reports.
• Presenting to potential clients when appropriate.

Ideal candidates will hold a medical degree and will preferably have experience within oncology. You should also have previous experience of performing a clinical research role within a CRO or Pharmaceutical company.
