A hugely successful medical communications agency has the outstanding opportunity for a Medical Writing Manager to join their already established editorial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Medical Writer looking to take the next step in their writing career or for an already established writing manager looking to move to a forward thinking dynamic organisation.
As a Medical Writing Manager you will report directly to the Medical Director taking a strategic role developing and implementing client communication programmes. You will focus on marketing strategy, key messages and the overall quality of all educational and promotional materials produced. You will also enjoy some line management responsibility where necessary and play an integral part in the development of the medical writing department as well as contributing to new business. Also you will work very closely with client services in supporting various projects and will proactively develop innovative products from concept through to delivery. As well as these duties you will be working alongside senior management and will be involved in the development and implementation of a strategy of strategies in order to drive business revenue within the medical education function of the company.
To be considered for the Medical Writing Manager role you will ideally have at least 3 years experience of Medical Education and healthcare marketing gained within a Medical Communications Agency /Healthcare Advertising or Pharmaceutical environment. A life science degree is essential along with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and write materials of a high scientific standard. Full driving licence is also essential for this role.
