An aerospace/defence company currently requires a project engineer:

Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer for Manufacturing Project Management within the Aircraft Services Operations Team.
Reporting to the Business Manager you will provide Project and Business Management support to the Weapons and Escapes Systems Services (WESS) element of the business.

Key Accountabilities/Deliverables
Interface will all WESS Project Stakeholders
Manage the directives/works authorisation for WESS (ensure they are in place
Create, Maintain and Manage Planning data (co-ordination and implementation of plans, programmes and schedules).
Provide risk and opportunity management.
Act as the main ASO point of contact for all Project related issues for WESS.
Co-ordinate Service Level Agreements with Stakeholders
Manage the internal trading agreements to enable accurate booking of time (BaaN/SAP)
Provide Project Control information (spend and schedule adherence) to the WESS Manager.
Identify work that is not covered by directive/works authorisation and pursue the relevant project office.

Additional Information/Notes
Ideal candidates should have proven ability in the Project Management Environment.
Knowledge and practice of Project Control is preferred.
