Saudi Arabia Specification Manager, Saudi Arabia (Pref Eastern Province)

Principal duties include but are not limited to:

-Responsibility for comprehensive end user product approvals and preference for products for general and project business.

-Responsibility to assist and influence end user specification engineers or their appointed consultant in favour of our clients products

-Responsibility for project coordination with our clients sales offices in overseas markets to maximise company potential with international EPC contractors. Possible travel to assist in project negotiation

-Comprehensive knowledge of all international standards and codes (U.L. ATEX etc) appertaining to our clients target industry and the capability to present on and discuss such standards and codes with client base

-Comprehensive knowledge of end client specifications such as the Aramco SAMMS specs and standards and formulate strategy to ensure Unique Selling Point’s (USP’s) of our clients products are included in such specifications.

-Capability of undertaking and undertaking regular end user client presentations both for industry specifications and standards and our clients products

-Responsibility for managing and undertaking Voice Of the Customer (VOC) initiatives in Saudi Arabia

-Guardian of approved vendor listing’s and product approval codes.

-“Go to” point for any query regarding product design, capability and suitability for any given application whether from within region or internationally for the worldwide sales team

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position reports to the Country Manager Saudi Arabia.

In the area of planning, the incumbent develops and recommends long-term objectives and plans to influence growth in market through solid and comprehensive specification work. The objectives are met through appropriate market research, and preparation of sales and marketing plans.

There is a particular emphasis in the field of product vitality (promotion of new product to the market)

Activities of this position require good leadership qualities and the ability to establish priorities and to coordinate specifications, liasing with Sales Offices and manufacturing facilities worldwide

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB:

Electrical Engineering degree, or Business Administration Degree or equivalent.

Experience with proven track record in a similar industry / application

Proven experience in sales and marketing management in an international environment

The incumbent will bring significant experience in working in an international sales team to the role preferably obtained in a multi ethnic environment

The incumbent will bring significant major international project coordination experience to the role
