Service Manager - Leicestershire
£45,000 - 65,000 + £5,500 Car Allowance + Bonus Scheme + Business Mileage
The Company
Dynamic and growing provider of electro mechanical systems including conveyors, cranes, racking and control systems for clients in the food, drink and storage sectors. The business turns over £20 million + in the UK after only three years of trading and are aiming to grow to £30 million in the immediate future. Many of their clients are now requesting service support in contracts and the service division represents a fantastic growth opportunity for the company. Due to this they are looking for a commercial and dynamic service manager to lead and manage it’s growth.
The Role
There are currently three people in the service division with an annual budget of £0.5 million but this will be growing rapidly over the next two years and could easily grow to a department of 40+ people which a much larger budget.
Your role will be to ensure complete delivery of all service contracts and will being with you putting together costings plans for service contracts before presenting these proposals to customers. Once the contracts are in place you will use your organisational and leadership skills to plan and deliver first class service to the clients across the UK.
Typically each site will have a supervisor with engineers working underneath them so you will need to ensure the correct resources are allocated in the correct places and the team has all the backup and support it needs to deliver.
The Candidate
The client is looking for a dynamic and confident service manager who is commercially aware. You will need experience in managing a service team from an engineering/electro-mechanical background and should be looking for an opportunity that will grow and stretch your capabilities.
You will need to have the capability to manage a service division of up to 40 people as the client’s service department will be reaching this level in the immediate future.
